I have always believed that writing advertisements is the second most profitable form of writing. The first, of course, is ransom notes. --Phil Dusenberry

I’m thrilled you have chosen me to write your ransom letter. It’s a very personal and, well, confidential process - together we will achieve great things. My fee is a mere 10% of what you’re requesting from the family and or friends. The more you ask for, the better your letter. Simple logic. Oh, if you are here about advertising, feel free to look around too.

How I got this way.

I'm Cara Moyle. Copywriter. Graduate of Colorado State University in 2003. Bachelor's degree in business administration. Emphasis in marketing. Now working at Vladimir Jones in the glorious state of Colorado after a longer-than-anticipated stint in Mobile, Alabama where I got my start in this crazy world of advertising. In 2010 you would have found me at Lewis Communications. Go even further back, to 2006, and you would have found a younger, fresher version of me at Red Square Agency where I was attempting to work in every department — I almost succeeded. I worked through traffic and the world of account services to find my true calling as a writer. It was a long and strenuous journey.

Brand experience includes Hurricane Brewing, Gulf Coast Cancer Centers, First Community Bank, Xcel Energy, Zea Rotisserie & Grill, Semolina and Semolina's Bistro Italia, Centura Health, Foosackly's, Heritage Homes, Alabama Credit Union, Delaney Land & Realty, United States Olympic Committee, True, American Equity Underwriters and Seascape Resort.

Occasionally recognized with awards:
 - Telly Awards
 - ADDY Judges Choice Award
 - ADDY Best in Print Award
 - Public Relations Council of Alabama Medallion Award
 - W3 Award
 - Public Relations Council of Alabama Medallion Award.

With my spare time, I read and play around on the web. I enjoy cooking, drinking wine (fine and not-so-fine) and spending time with friends. I possess a ridiculous number of rubber duckies. It's a fact.

Things didn't really get better with the economy, so the next campaign focused on customer service. When you have a financial institution that pays attention to your needs, things go smoothly, leaving you with less to worry about. It's nice to have someone who listens.

Wind Creek Casino & Hotel

Wind Creek Casino & Hotel is a slots-only resort vying with Biloxi, Mississippi, for guests. They needed a campaign to let slot players know that here, they're number one. Enter Survivor Guy. He's braving the Biloxi casino jungle to see if he gets the same treatment he does at Wind Creek. The spots highlighted all areas of service and made our actor so famous he was recognized at Biloxi's airport. Just go with it.

GCCC

Trying to stay top-of-mind with referring doctors is a constant challenge for Gulf Coast Cancer Centers. Their monthly physician messages help but it's necessary to keep it fresh. As a part of our "Prescription" message, we wanted to remind the doctors of the importance of antioxidants in cancer care. Lucky for them, antioxidants are tastier than they sound.

Raising money is hard when times are good, current conditions made it even tougher. The University of Alabama College of Business needed to create an annual report that highlighted what was being done to spend donations wisely and emphasize the resulting great work. Printing on an inexpensive (read: economical) paper with tons of visual interest created a piece that got the dollars flowing. Roll Tide.
